I am not a licensed medical professional and I am not able to diagnose, treat or prescribe for any health condition. Services and fees are for the preparation and encapsulation of your placenta, not for the sale of the pills. No specific benefits or effects are promised. It is your responsibility to determine whether using placenta preparations may be of benefit to you.
Placenta Preparation Services
Capsules - Raw Foods Method
This method involves slicing the placenta while raw and dehydrating it at 160 F. Your placenta must be very fresh. It is dehydrated at a high temperature to kill off any harmful bacteria that may be present, but is otherwise unprocessed. This method is believed to better preserve hormones and nutrients. Clients who choose this method report increased energy as one of the benefits. It is widely held that the hormones are more likely to be bioavailable when the placenta is processed raw. The Raw method makes about 20% more capsules, but the dehydration stage takes significantly longer.
Capsules: Traditional Chinese Medicine
Your placenta is steamed with fresh ginger, fresh green chile peppers and lemon (or lemongrass) before slicing and dehydrating it at 160 F. This method is believed to be warming and replenishing to the postpartum body and circulatory system, more supportive of mood and help your body use the beneficial properties of the placenta in a deeper way. This method also kills any bacteria and reduces risk of spoilage. Using this method produces less capsules, because of the steaming process.
All capsules are prepared using vegetarian capsules, unless gelatin capsules are preferred.
Tincture 125 ml - The benefit to having a tincture made is that it can be used in addition to and long after the capsules are gone. Placenta tincture is a liquid extract of the placenta and it's ingredients in a high grade alcohol. It makes a potent tincture, has an indefinite shelf life and drops are easy to consume.
Essence 125 ml - is said to hold the vibrational qualities of the placenta. It is a liquid extract of the placenta and it's ingredients in distilled water and a high grade alcohol. It lasts forever and drops are easy to consume.
Placenta Salve 125 ml - your placenta powder is infused into a high quality salve base which is said to encourage healing from cuts, scrapes, cesarean and surgical scars (when wounds are closed), perinatal tears (once stitches dissolve), hemorrhoids, eczema, diaper rash, cradle cap, dry skin and as a general healing and skin-care salve.
Placenta Prints: the placenta is often referred to as the Tree of Life. I create a print of your placenta on watercolour paper. I can spray it with a fixative, if desired. A placenta print is a great keepsake for your baby's book or to frame if desired.
Umbilical Cord Keepsake: a special addition to your encapsulation service which you can hang, store in your baby's memory box or book etc.
